My Top Tweets to Accurately Describe My Life Abroad
This week, I thought it would be fun to do something a little bit unique. While I was away in France, I decided to start a Twitter account, in order to document some of my impressions and experiences during my time there. In order to give you a little bit of insight and maybe a few chuckles, I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite funny and weird moments that I Tweeted.
When there is still much room for improvement:
Finally getting a hang of the language:
The Normalities of France:
Paying to use public bathrooms:
Mastering the bisou:
And the hardest part - saying goodbye...
Hopefully you enjoyed this little glimpse into this past year living in the North of France. If you enjoyed this and want to follow along with my Tweets and see more of my posts, feel free to find me on Twitter as @venturewithash.
Finally, I'd like to leave you with one of my favourite French quotes from a movie, which accurately describes my time there. (Translated into English, of course).
In the North, you cry two times: The first upon arrival, and the second because you do not want to set off again. ~ Bienvenue Chez Les Ch'tis
(It's perfect, right??)
